Today, India is celebrating its 74th Army day across the country to show respect and devotion of the Indian army for their treasurers services.
On Saturday, Prime Minister Modi, wished soldiers, veterans, and their families. He said words cannot express his gratitude for their important contribution to national security and praised the Indian Army’s bravery and professionalism.
Army Day commemorates the first Indian general gaining command of the Indian Army in 1949 from a British commander.

President Ram Nath Kovind also greeted Indian Army members on Friday and expressed his gratitude to the country’s brave and dedicated soldiers, veterans, and their families.
“Warm greetings to the brave men and women of the Indian Army on Army Day.” We honour those brave souls who sacrificed all in the service of their country. In India, the courageous and dedicated troops, veterans, and families will be honoured forever. “Jai Hind!” tweeted President Ram Nath Kovind.
