On Saturday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared that India is working continuously to make sure that its image is strong and it is able to lead the world by becoming the largest millennial market. The Prime Minister said in his interaction with startups of different industries all over the country through a video conferencing program. He shared that India’s needs and potential, beginning from a rural economy to Industry 4.0 are unlimited.
Modi also said that he is delighted to notice the discovery and improvement of the startup ecosystem of the country. Modi appreciated the country’s regular state of learning and willingness to change. PM Modi shared that Indian startups are now evolving in 55 various industries. Just five years back, India didn’t even have 500 startups but today the number of startups in the country has crossed 60,000.

The Prime Minister has also encouraged the youngsters to follow the rule of ‘let us innovate for India by innovating from India.
He also motivated startups to not just prepare products and services for the local market but also find a global market. He also said that the startups will remain to be the backbone of new India.
No wonder that during Modi’s leadership in less than the last decade, India has evolved to be a startup hub. Many youngsters are leaving their jobs to start on their own and provide more employment opportunities to the less advantaged groups. This is only helping the country to become more self-reliant and evolve further.
Startups are not only registering themselves on the various government portals to get themselves recognized but also people are enthusiastic to have their own set-ups, thus making the Millenials of the country become the world’s largest market and encouraging more people to join the entrepreneurial path.
