New Delhi: Rafael aircraft from France have arrived at Ambala Cantt Airport Air Base in India. PM Narendra Modi has tweeted after Rafael successfully landed in the country. PM Modi has said in his tweet that there is no yagna like defence of the nation. Let us know that almost 23 years after the purchase of Sukhoi planes from Russia, a fleet of new and state-of-the-art Rafale fighter jets from France arrived here today, at the country’s strategically important Ambala air base.

He said that I congratulate the Air Force. I am confident that the 17 Squadron Golden Arrow will succeed in its goal. I am very happy that our capacity is continuously increasing.

Earlier, the country’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that Rafael had landed safely in Ambala. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh tweeted, “Birds have landed safely.” Fighter aircraft in the Air Force are called “Birds”. With this said that India is beginning a new era in military history.

After Rafale aircraft join the Air Force, the country will get an edge over the air warfare capability of its adversaries. These Rafale aircraft with impeccable track record are considered one of the finest fighter aircraft in the world.

The aircraft landed at Ambala airbase in Haryana this afternoon, covering a distance of 7,000 km from the Marignac airbase located in the city of Bordu, France. After Rafale planes entered Indian airspace, two Sukhoi 30 MKI aircraft received them and flew with them to Ambala.
