New Delhi: The monsoon session of Parliament will run from July 19 to August 13. The Lok Sabha Secretariat has given this information. Earlier today, Congress MP Shakti Singh Gohil had told on Twitter that the next Monsoon session of Rajya Sabha will be held from July 19 to August 13. However, he did not give information about the timing of the proceedings of the House. After the corona virus epidemic, the deadline for the proceedings of both the sessions of Parliament was reduced. Shakti Singh Gohil is a Rajya Sabha MP of Congress.

Earlier, quoting sources, it was told that the monsoon session of Parliament is likely to start from July 19 and end on August 13. Sources said that 20 meetings are likely to be held during the monsoon session that will last for about a month. Normally the monsoon session of Parliament starts from the third week of July and ends before Independence Day.

Sources had said that the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs has made a recommendation regarding the duration of this session. He told that all protocols related to Covid will be followed in the Parliament premises during the session. He said that it is expected that those entering the premises during the session would have taken at least one dose of the Covid vaccine by then.
