
On Saturday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with over 150 startups from different sectors such as agriculture and health through video conferencing. Startups from different industries such as enterprise systems, space, industry 4.0, security, fintech, environment along with agriculture and health will be a part of this video conferencing said the PMO on Friday.

Above 150 startups have been categorized into 6 working groups that are based on topics such as growing from roots, nudging the DNA, from local to global, technology of future, building champions in manufacturing, and sustainable development, which are what is mentioned in the press release.

Each category of business will get the chance to prepare and show their presentation in front of Modi on the given theme in the interaction. The idea of the interaction is to get to know how startups can come together to help deliver the national needs and also lead by innovating in the country.
During the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, a week-long occasion, “Celebrating Innovation Ecosystem”, is being conducted by DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, between January 10-16. The event also celebrates the 6th anniversary of the launch of the Startup India campaign.
Right from the start, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has firmly believed in the capabilities of the startups in India to contribute majorly to the advancement of the nation. This was also seen in the introduction of the flagship initiative called Startup India in 2016. The government has put many efforts into ensuring that there is a conducive atmosphere created for improving the growth and development of startups.
The initiatives have also given a good boost to the startup ecosystem in India and it has led to a huge growth of unicorns in India, said the release.
