Mumbai: With the second wave of Corona, the lockdown in Maharashtra is now considered almost confirmed. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had indicated in this regard in the name of the people of the state on Friday itself. At the same time, in a meeting with the editors of some big media houses on Saturday, he has also indicated the lockdown.

According to sources, the lockdown can be announced in Maharashtra in one or two days. These lockdowns may last 7 to 15 days. Significantly, the worst condition in the country from Corona is that of Maharashtra. Records of new cases of Corona are being made here everyday.

In Mumbai, which is called the capital of Maharashtra and the country’s financial capital, 9090 new corona cases have been reported on Saturday. Along with this, 27 more people have also died in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 3720 new cases have been reported in Nagpur while 47 more people have died.

In Maharashtra, 47,827 new cases of corona virus infection were registered on Friday, which is the highest level of any single day in the state since the epidemic started.
