New Delhi: Even though the Corona cases in Delhi have come down significantly according to government figures, the state government does not want to take any risk yet, so the lockdown in Delhi has been extended till May 31, like many other states.
Lockdown is on in Delhi from 10 pm on 19 April. Since then, the government has increased the lockdown 4 times. Delhi people have benefited a lot by putting a lockdown. In fact, the rate of infection in the city had reached 36 percent. The same infection rate has now come down to less than 4 per cent, but the government believes that if immediate relief is given, the cases will go up again. Therefore, at present, the government is not in a mood to give relief from it.

There have been 2260 new corona cases in Delhi on Saturday. At the same time, 182 people have died. The infection rate has been 3.58 percent. According to the data released by the Health Department, the lowest number of cases have been reported since March 31 and the number of infected has been below 3000 since April 1. 1819 cases were reported in Delhi on 31 March and 2790 on 1 April.
