Ayodhya: Five members of the same family, including three children, were killed due to a family dispute in Ram Nagari Ayodhya. The incident took place late Saturday night under Inayat Nagar police station area. According to reports, the couple’s nephew Pawan had a long-running property dispute with his 35-year-old uncle Ramesh. The nephew lived in the same house with the deceased couple.
Late Saturday night, the alleged accused strangled his uncle Ramesh, his wife Jyoti and two minor sons and a daughter and escaped. Seeing Pawan running away, the villagers reached the deceased’s house and informed the police.
Ayodhya SSP Shailesh Pandey, who reached the spot, said that according to preliminary investigation, the reason behind the crime seems to be the property dispute. The SSP said, “A person, his wife and 3 children were reported murdered last night in Baria Nisaru village of Inayatnagar police station.” The deceased’s brother-in-law, sister, nephew and nephew’s wife, who were living in the same house with them, were charged with the murder.

He said, “An attempt was made to arrest the case. 3 named accused have been arrested. The nephew of the deceased is still absconding. This murder has been carried out in a dispute over Nanihal’s property.
