JP Nadda lauds CM Yogi at UP BJP working committee meeting

A day after PM Modi appreciated Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath for his developmental work in the state, BJP’s national president, JP Nadda to have lauded UP CM Yogi for his commendable performance in UP panchayat elections and developmental work in UP amid covid pandemic. Nadda was speaking at a  meeting of the Uttar Pradesh BJP Working Committee in New Delhi today to develop a strategy ahead of the UP Assembly elections next year.

On Friday, Jagat Prakash Nadda, the chief of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), presided Uttar Pradesh BJP Working Committee in New Delhi through video conferencing. The meeting is conducted to discuss the backdrop of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly election next year, in which Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is seeking a second consecutive term.

 BJP General Secretary Arun Singh, Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani, and Union Minister for Heavy Industries Mahendra Nath Pandey addressed the virtual meeting.

In addition, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dr. Dinesh Sharma, BJP state in-charge Radha Mohan Singh, General Secretary Sunil Bansal, state Vice-President AK Sharma, UP BJP President Swatantra Dev Singh, and former BJP presidents for the UP unit Vinay Katiyar, Dr. Laxmikant Bajpai, and Ramakant Tripathi will also be a part of this virtual meeting.

Cabinet Reshuffle: BJP wants to retain UP with social engineering

The main agenda of the meeting was to focus on the preparation of the UP election and to also review the organizational efforts for the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.

According to the sources, the discussions were held mainly on the current political scenario in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh and the next meet will be held to examine the progress of organizational setup before elections.

At the meeting, various issues have been discussed for the strategies for the 2022 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, including the government’s programs, successes, and steps to improve performance.

The working committee meets once every six months to assess the organization’s programs. We’ll make plans for the next party events. It’s something we do on a regular basis.

The meeting will be attended by around 600 members of the state BJP, as well as 100 members of the working committee, including the presidents of Mahila Morcha Yuva Morcha, Kisan Morcha, and district presidents.
