Ahmedabad: In the local body elections held in Gujarat, where the BJP is the ruler. In the trends that have come so far, the Bharatiya Janata Party is seen winning big in all the six metropolitan municipalities – Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Jamnagar, Bhavnagar and Rajkot. The Aam Aadmi Party has won 27 seats. Congress account not opened in Surat.
If we talk about Jamnagar, the BSP has won three seats here. While for the first time the Gujarat Municipal Elections Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM has won four seats in Ahmedabad. The BJP is on the verge of registering a major victory in the Gujarat civic elections. The celebration of victory is being celebrated in Ahmedabad. Home Minister Amit Shah has also reached Ahmedabad.

The BJP’s finest performance is also seen in Surat Mahanagar Palika. The party has captured 93 seats here. The Aam Aadmi Party has also performed well here. AAP has won 27 seats here. While the Congress could not even open its account here, Aam Aadmi Party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will visit Gujarat on 26 February. During this, they will do a road show in Surat.
In the Vadodara Metropolitan Municipality, the BJP’s flag has been waved. The party has won 69 seats here. At the same time, Congress has won 7 seats. Activists are celebrating outside the BJP offices.
BJP has got majority in Rajkot Metropolitan Municipality. BJP has won 68 seats here. At the same time, the Congress has four seats.
The Jamnagar Metropolitan Municipality with 64 seats has also been captured by the BJP. It has won 50 seats here. While the Congress finished second after winning 11 seats. Others got 3 seats.
Talking about Bhavnagar Metropolitan Municipality, BJP has got a big victory here too. In this 52-seat metropolitan municipality, the BJP won a big 44 seats. While Congress has won only 8 seats.
