New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday alleged that efforts are being made to push farmers’ movement off-the track as they their demonstration is going on for a month now and said that unless their demands are heard, the farmers will not budge.
Taking to micro blogging site Twitter this morning, Mr Gandhi said, ‘Every bit of the soil is now buzzing, the government will have to listen.’
Mr Gandhi also shared a video clip along with his tweet containing excerpts of the entire farmers’ movement and said that the government will have to listen to them and unless there demands are met, they will continue their protest.
Meanwhile, the farmers’ agitation at the National Capital’s borders entered day 31 on Saturday, while they continued to stick to their demand amid harsh weather conditions making arrangements to stay put till their demands are met.
