New Delhi: Amid months of deadlock in East Ladakh with China, India has asked its military forces to increase the stock of sufficient arms and ammunition for a major war of 15 days. It is likely that military forces can buy equipment and ammunition from local and foreign sources and more than Rs 50,000 crore can be spent for this.
Its earlier military forces have been collecting weapons and ammunition equivalent to 10 days of war, but this time it has been reduced to a minimum level of 15 days, so that the military forces be ready are on two front lines of war between China and Pakistan.
According to the sources, ‘Weapon systems and ammunition are being collected from the enemy equal to 15 days of intense warfare. Stocking has now been increased from 10-I level to 15-I. Sources said that the military forces got permission to increase the stocking some time ago.
