New Delhi: The deadlock between the government and farmers over the agricultural laws remains intact. Rakesh Tikait, national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, says that this movement will run till October. He said that after the fortification, this government will do ‘rotibandi’, in protest against this, Rakesh Tikait sat on the road and ate roti. Rakesh Tikait said that the government wants to stop food in the vault, so we are eating food sitting on the road. Interestingly, the police warning was written in the place where Rakesh Tikait chose for this protest.
Rakesh Tikait, who has fronted the Ghazipur border with thousands of farmers, is getting the support of leaders of other parties. Many people like Sukhbir Singh Badal of Shiromani Akali Dal, Jayant Chaudhary of RLD, Congress leader of Haryana Deepender Singh Hooda and Bhim Army Chief Chandrashekhar Azad have expressed support from Rakesh Tikait to farmers.
