New Delhi: Negotiations continue between the agitating farmers and the central government over agricultural laws. But still there seems to be no solution. But still the government is hoping to find a solution to the issue soon. On Wednesday, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar expressed hope that “a solution is expected to be found in the meeting on the 8th.”
The Agriculture Minister said, “We are committed to the welfare of farmers. We discuss with farmers who oppose agricultural laws. The agitators who are agitated by the farmers union will understand the feelings of the agrarian reform bills and take care of the interests of the farmers, positively we will discuss and find a solution. ”
It may be noted that for the last 42 days, farmers’ organizations have been sitting on the Singhu and Tikri borders of Delhi Haryana, opposing the agricultural laws. Eight rounds of negotiations have been held between the central government and the farmers’ organizations regarding the law, but still no way has been found to end the agitation. While the farmers are adamant on withdrawing the three agricultural laws and demanding the MSP, the government is talking about amendments.
