New Delhi: Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has claimed that BJP will face defeat in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. He said that the people of UP want change. During a news channel conversation, Akhilesh denied alliance with Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj Party for the UP elections and said that we will fight the elections together with smaller parties. Without mentioning BSP and Congress, Akhilesh said, “My experience with big parties has not been good, we will not form any alliance with them.”
The SP chief said that his party is targeting 300 (in terms of victory) out of 430 assembly seats in the state. The SP chief said that the people of the state are now in the mood for change and BJP will have to face defeat in the assembly elections.
He claimed that soon the Samajwadi Party is going to come to power in the state, vaccination will be made free for the poor. Regarding his own corona vaccination, Akhilesh said, ‘When the entire UP is vaccinated, after that I will get the vaccine.
It is worth noting that assembly elections are to be held in UP next year and these elections are being considered as a tough challenge for the Yogi Adityanath government of the state. Yogi Adityanath is currently facing dissatisfaction within his own party, which the top leadership of Delhi is trying to overcome.
