New Delhi: On the ongoing dispute with China over the Line of Actual Control (LAC), Army Chief MM Narwane has said that the situation on the border with China is fully under control and negotiations are also going on. He said that I want to assure everyone that the entire situation on our borders with China is under control. We are doing a series of talks which started with the Corps Commander level talks.

On June 6, 2020, there was a meeting between the core commanders of India and China. The meeting took place as part of ongoing diplomatic and military dialogue between the two sides to deal with the situation arising in areas bordering the India-China border. He said that it was agreed in the meeting that the situation should be resolved soon with the guidance of the leaders of both the countries.

Military sources said that despite negotiations between the two countries, India has deployed more troops in almost all sensitive areas along the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh, North Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh, which have similar military strength to China. Is part of the strategy to increase.

Sources also said that the two sides continue to have a face-to-face confrontation in several areas of Pangong and East Ladakh. Military sources claimed on Tuesday that forces from both countries had retreated to patrol points 14 and 15 in the Galvan Valley and Hot Spring area, and the Chinese side retreated 1.5 kilometers to the two areas.
