Chinese army handed over 5 missing people from Arunachal Pradesh to India: Reports

Guwahati: China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) on Saturday handed over five men from Arunachal Pradesh to India who had gone missing in the past. Earlier on Friday, Union Minister Kiran Rijiju also tweeted in this regard. He had told that “The Chinese PLA has confirmed the handing over of the Indian Army to the youth of Arunachal Pradesh in our favor.

Let me tell you that last Saturday a leading local newspaper published a report claiming that 5 people of the Tagin community, who belong to a village near Nacho town, have been kidnapped. The newspaper wrote that at the time of this alleged kidnapping, he was taken to the forest for hunting. The report was quoted by a relative who claimed that those people were abducted by the Chinese army. This claim was made through a social media post which went viral on sight.
