BJP’s thumping victory in District Panchayat President’s poll, claims victory in 67 seats

Lucknow: Before the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, the situation has become clear regarding the election of District Panchayat President in the Panchayat elections, which are considered to be semi-final. BJP has captured 67 out of 75 seats in UP. Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya also cited the popularity of CM Yogi Adityanath as the reason for the victory.

Voting for the post of District Panchayat President was held in 53 districts on Saturday. At the same time, BJP has won the election unopposed in 21 seats except Etawah. Voting was held for District Panchayat President from 11 am to 3 pm. On this massive victory for BJP, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said that BJP has won because of Yogi’s popularity, his policy, Modi ji’s popularity and his plans, support of leaders and workers, hard work. Maurya tweeted and wrote that, SP saaf, BJP top.

Rajesh Agrahari, owner of Rajesh Masala in Amethi, has won. Rajesh Agrahari was given ticket by BJP. BJP has also won in Azam Khan’s stronghold Rampur. Party candidate Khyaliram Lodhi has been elected district panchayat president from here. Khyaliram Lodhi has got 18 votes. Samajwadi-backed candidate Nasreen Jahan got 13 votes. BJP has also won in Kushinagar. The BJP was already occupied here on the post of District Panchayat President.

Chandauli, Hapur, Sultanpur, Mirzapur, Rae Bareli, Mathura, Firozabad, Bijnor, Hamirpur, Muzaffarnagar, Sonbhadra, Ballia, Ghazipur, Unnao, Hardoi, Sambhal, Basti, Fatehpur, Shamli, Aligarh, Jaunpur, Kasganj, Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday , Siddharthnagar, Etah, Ayodhya, Rampur, Sitapur, Auraiya, Mahoba, Fatehpur, Kanpur Nagar, Kushinagar, Mainpuri, Pratapgarh, Kannauj, Jalaun, Maharajganj, Sant Kabirnagar, Lakhimpur, Badaun, Prayagraj, Amethi, Bhadohi, Barabanki, Farrukhabad, Kanpur Polling was held for the post of District Panchayat President in Dehat, Ambedkar Nagar, Bareilly, Kaushambi, Hathras, Deoria and Lucknow.
