BJP to Launch Seva Campaign to Commemorate Modi’s Birthday

To commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “two decades in public service,” the BJP will launch a 20-day “Seva and Samarpan” campaign on September 17 that will include a variety of charity activities.

The BJP has been commemorating Modi’s birthday as ‘Seva Diwas’ (Service Day) since 2014 and has organised charitable events around the nation for a week. Still, this year it has been extended to 20 days to commemorate his two decades in electoral politics.

On this occasion, the BJP has also requested that five crore postcards be distributed throughout the country by BJP booth workers pledging their commitment to public service. The party has also encouraged its members to publicise the auction of Modi’s gifts. The auction will begin on September 17 and will be hosted on pmmemontos.gov.in.

According to the party, the proceeds from the sale would be used extensively in the Namami Gange project. Similarly, the BJP’s Kisan Morcha will observe ‘Kisan Jawan Samman Diwas’ in every country district on Modi’s birthday. The party will honour the families of soldiers and farmers as part of this effort.
