New Delhi: BJP MP Anant Kumar Hegde, who has often made headlines due to his statements, has called the employees of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) a traitor. He said that the employees of this company do not want to work to take the leading company forward. He said that after privatization, 88 thousand employees will be removed from BSNL.
Hegde made this statement on 10 August at an event held in Kumta, North Kannada Parliamentary constituency. He said that BSNL is a blot on the country because even after providing money, infrastructure and market, the employees of the telecom company refuse to work. He further said that more than 88000 employees will be fired, as the government will privatize BSNL.
