Patna: Elaborate arrangements have been made for crucial second phase of Bihar Assembly Elections tomorrow in 94 seats where 2,86,11,164 electorate would be exercising their franchise tomorrow at 41, 362 polling stations to decide the fate of 1463 candidates amid tight security arrangements.
After first phase of polling in ongoing Bihar Assembly Elections in 71 seats on October 28, stage is now set for second phase of polling in 94 seats tomorrow where all arrangements have been made for electorate to exercise their franchise amid tight security arrangements.
A total of 2,86,11, 164 electorate including 1,35,16,271 female electorate would exercise their franchise to decide the fate of 1463 candidates including 146 women at 41,362 polling stations.
Both RJD led Grand Alliance and NDA are the two main power contenders who have put their all energies and resources at their disposal to get blessings of the people for formation of the government for next term. While Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is the CM face of NDA in ongoing Assembly Elections, RJD leader Tejasvi Prasad Yadav is the CM face of Grand Alliance.
On one hand, NDA comprising JD(U), BJP, Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) and Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) are depending on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Mr Kumar for leading their campaign, RJD leader Tejasvi Prasad Yadav and former Congress president Rahul Gandhi are spearheading the campaign of Grand Alliance.
RJD has fielded 56 candidates including four women, its constituent in Grand Alliance, Congress has fielded 24 candidates including two women. Other constituents of Grand Alliance, CPI and CPI(M) have fielded four candidates each.
