Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party, alleged on Friday that his helicopter was not allowed to fly from Delhi to Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, due to a conspiracy by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

“In Delhi, my helicopter has stopped. It is not permitted to travel to Muzaffarnagar, despite the fact that a major BJP leader has recently travelled from here. This is a plot devised by the losing BJP. Everything is being understood, ” Akhilesh tweeted.

The claims levelled by Akhilesh Yadav come as the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections approach. In the Uttar Pradesh Assembly election, Akhilesh Yadav will run from the Karhal constituency in the Mainpuri district. Karhal voters will vote on February 20.
