Warrior Nun is the Netflix Original fantasy-drama series that is based on the comic book having the same name. The series Warrior Nun has been directed by Simon Barry and the team behind the production is the same who produced the series Game of Thrones. The first season of the series hit Netflix on July 2nd, 2021, and the second season is also ready to be there by 2022.

Has Netflix renewed Warrior Nun for a second season?
Soon after the first season of the series hit Netflix, Warrior Nun was renewed for a Season 2. Along with the confirmation of Season 2, the writers also teased that they’re already beginning planning plus by most metrics as the show has performed very well.
Simon Barry who is the showrunner of the series in an interview said the following: When we were finishing with the Season 1 of the series, we had many more avenues to go down story-wise. So, we created a folder thinking, if we will be lucky enough we will put all these things into Season 2.
The show was officially renewed for the other season on August 19th, 2020 but was only confirmed after the cast and crew of the series came live together on a virtual call.

In the last 30 days from July 6th to August 6th, 2020, this was the series that was the third biggest TV show on Netflix. Cursed and The Dark was the series that took first and the second place.
The series was also there in the top list for July 2020 globally and became one of the most popular shows of 2021 in the world. Warrior Nun was on #1 in Brazil, the Netherlands, and New Zealand. Therefore, from here we can clearly say that Warrior Nun has performed extremely well on the streaming platform.
