Tera Mera Saath Rahe is a Hindi television serial aired on Star Bharat at 8.30 PM slot. The serial introduces us to a fearful, shy, and 8th class Gujarati medium pass Gopika who gets married to the diamond business tycoon Saksham Modi in a turn of events. It is Saksham’s Badi Maa (whom he considers his mom) who thinks Gopika to be the apt suit for Saksham who doesn’t want to have children after knowing what his father did to get a heir to their family.

Basically, Saksham’s father married Meethila’s sister to get children because Meethila couldn’t become a mother. This irked Saksham when he got to know the truth and since then he has developed hatred feelings for his father. Meethila thinks that Gopika is quite educated, knows English, is fearless, and can change the mind of her laadla son Saksham and thus, gets them married.

Eventually, Ashi and her mom create events in Gopika’s life that reveal her soft nature, fearful and shy personality to the Modi family’s eldest member. Gopika reveals all about her innocent nature to Baa and confesses that she is grateful to get married to such a rich family with Meethila as her mentor who has accepted an uneducated girl like her as the daughter-in-law of the house.
Baa gets the shock of her life knowing about Gopika’s truth and thus, starts the suspense of what will happen when Meethila gets to know the harsh reality of what she had perceived about Gopika. In the upcoming episodes, it will be shown how Gopika gets kidnapped by diamond robbers and Meethila finds Gopika running to save her life instead of fighting to get the diamond. Meethila will confront Gopika for lying and cheating on her about her nature and educational status. Will Gopika be able to know that she is framed and will she be able to get into Meethila and Saksham’s good books in the long run?
