The Star Plus serial Mehendi Hai Rachnewali ended on a good note on 27 November 2021 with Raghav and Pallavi getting reunited with marriage and sharing lovey-dovey moments. Raghav and Pallavi were played by Sai Ketan Rao and Shivangi Khedkar respectively. The serial started on 15 February this year, a day after Valentine’s Day and it is based on the Telugu serial Gorintaku that was aired on Star Maa.

The serial was produced by SOL Productions and Sandiip Films. The romantic drama serial is about Pallavi who was a widow and took care of a textile business along with her aged in-laws and relatives. Pallavi Deshmukh tried her hard to always do good work and be the breadwinner of her matrimonial family as her husband passed away on the night of their marriage. Pallavi is a strong-headed woman who met a rich goon Raghav Rao, a spoilt brat and with an arrogant attitude.
Anticipation rises among ‘Bigg Boss Telugu 5’ viewers for upcoming nominations
Pallavi gets married to Raghav in a turn of events leading to a compromised marital life. Pallavi and Raghav are poles apart in terms of views and thinking about life and society. It is Pallavi’s kind and humble nature that makes Raghav’s mother think of her as a suitable wife for her son. Eventually, Raghav falls in love with Pallavi and they settle their differences to lead a good marital life.
However, difficulties strike in and they are met with their past affairs and events that haunt them in their present. Pallavi’s dead husband comes alive and plots to separate her and Raghav’s newfound love in the relationship. However, the duo stands strong and reunites again. Again Raghav’s past comes wherein his illegal business dealings and past love affair makes Raghav and Pallavi live in peace.
However, Raghav and Pallavi are time and again tested and their strong love for each other makes them fall together in love over and again. This makes the serial Mehendi Hai Rachne Waali a must-watch even on Hotstar if you get a chance. And yes, I will continue to miss the serial of 6.30 pm or 5.30 pm slot that always made me believe in true love stories.
