Auto Desk – Mercedes-Benz India has launched a second-gen GLC SUV in India at s 73.5 lahks (ex-showroom) for the GLC 300 (petrol). The SUV looks premium and comes with more tech engines. Bookings have been underway and more than 1,500 bookings have already been done.
The SUV now has a more sublime look and carries the new LED headlamps and the signature LED DRLs. The rear sports slimmer LED taillamps for luxury appeal. The SUV has 19-inch alloys and a dimensionally GLC – of 60mm longer, a wheelbase – of 15mm longer and the SUV is shorter by 4mm and its width is unchanged at 1,890mm.
It comes with an 11.9-inch tilted infotainment display that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It has a 12.3-inch instrument display and comes with the MBUX UI. It also includes a 360-degree camera, multi-zone climate control, air purifier, panoramic glass roof, 64-color ambient lighting, heated front seats, and more. It offers multiple interior color options.
There are 2 engine options for the GLC – The GLC 200 petrol uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine offering 258bhp and 400Nm of torque. And the GLC 220d diesel offers 197bhp and 440Nm of torque.
The e new Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV is priced at Rs 73.5 lakh for the GLC 300 and for the GLC 220d it is priced at Rs 74.5 lakh.
