It seems that Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire is going to make a huge noise at the Indian entertainment industry before it hits the theatres. Last time, we reported how Prabhas has been staying away from social media for a while now. After all, he has put a lot of effort into his upcoming movie that promises a lot of action and thrilling effects.

Vivek Agnihotri claims Prabhas’ fans are trolling him

Now the production house Hombale Films has released a new poster of actor Prithviraj Sukumaran from the amazing movie. Sharing on X, which was earlier known as Twitter, Hombale Films released the poster today, which also marks Prithviraj’s 41st birthday.

Rashmika date with South super star Prabhas

In the new poster, the audience can notice Prithviraj to be donning a rugged look. He is seen in a black outfit with a shawl around his neck. He is also wearing a black tika on his forehead and a nose ring. The backdrop also shows many people standing behind him against a cloudy and dust-filled sky.

The caption of the poster reads, “Wishing ‘Vardharaja Mannar’ The King @PrithviOfficial, a majestic birthday.”

For the unversed, Prithviraj will be playing the character of Vardharaja Mannaar who is the son of Raja Mannaar. Prithviraj also shared the poster from his X account, and wrote, “Thank you Hombale Films, Prashanth Neel, Prabhas and the entire team of Salaar! Cannot wait for the world to see this epic! (Red heart emoji).”

It was recently reported that Prithviraj was healing from a knee injury and plans to return to work with full energy. In an Instagram post, Sukumaran shared that it has been three months as he has damaged his knee while filming for an action sequence for his forthcoming Malayalam film Vilayath Buddha.

After the injury struck the actor, Sukumaran had to go through a complicated procedure and even expressed gratitude to his team of doctors who operated on him. He had told that time that he is thankful to all his fans and followers who reached out to him to share their wishes for speedy recovery.

Coming back to the film Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire, the film also features Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, Eshwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu and Sriya Reddy. It will be releasing in theatres on 22 December this year. Earlier, the film was supposed to release on 28 September 2023 but the makers had to postpone the film because of “unforseen circumstances”.

As the film has a lot of budget involved, the adventure, thriller, and action movie will have a lot of surprises for fans and the audience alike. Directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, the film is being touted to be India’s biggest film of the year.

However, fans are upset with the release date as it will also clash with Dunki which features Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. For the unaware, Dunki is a Hindi-language comedy-drama film that is about the Illegal immigration technique called “Donkey flight”. It will be directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Hirani, Gauri Khan, and Jyoti Deshpande.
