The festival of Baisakhi holds a great significance for Neetu Kapoor – since on this day in 1979 she got engaged to Rishi Kapoor. She shared a throwback picture of her engagement day on Instagram on Wednesday morning as she remembered her husband Rishi Kapoor. Neetu wrote “Fond memories of Baisakhi day as we got engaged 43 years back on 13th April 1979,” remembering the special occasion.

Today Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding celebrations began at his Palihill house ‘Vastu Apartment” with a Ganesha Puja function where her cousin sister Karishma and Kareena were present along with Riddhima Kapoor.  Mehndi function was organised today itself where the couple and the close family and friends enjoyed on various bollywood songs. Chances are high that today the bride-groom family may formally announce the marriage date of Ranbir-Alia wedding.

For the last few weeks, Bollywood fans have been able to talk of little else except the upcoming wedding of Ranbir Kapoor to Alia Bhatt. As per several reports, celebrations will begin today with a Mehendi ceremony at Ranbir’s Pali Hill apartment, Vastu.

Speculation around the wedding ramped up after designer outfits of Sabyasachi were seen getting delivered to Ranbir’s apartment. However, the wedding will reportedly to be an intimate affair, likely to be attended by near and dear ones. Meanwhile, to be couple Ranbir-Alia has remained tight-lipped about their marriage date, neither denying nor confirming the rumours.

The couple Ranbir-Alia reportedly began dating in 2017 after meeting on the sets of Brahmastra. Earlier, Ranbir’s name was linked with bollywood actresses like Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone also.
