Bollywood’s superstar Akshay Kumar took the opportunity of the festival to announce his upcoming movie called Raksha Bandhan, which will be directed by Aanand L Rai.
The film has been written by Himanshu Sharma and it will mark the second collaboration between Akshay and Aanand after their romantic-drama movie Atrangi Re.
Akshay shared on Twitter that this film Raksha Bandhan is his tribute to his sister Alka Bhatia and also to the beautiful relationship of a brother and sister.
The film is expected to start shooting next year, and is scheduled to release in theatres worldwide on November 5, 2021.
