Since the start of her birth, she has been taunted by her grandma for having killed her unborn brother when they were in their mother’s womb. 2) Bade Acche Lagte Hain season 2: This old story of Ram and Priya from season 1 with new characters played by Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar shows that marriage is not only for love but also companionship that a couple gets when they come officially together. The character of Priya is shown to be self-sufficient, independent, and a modern woman who has her own ideas and thoughts. She takes care of her family of 3 sisters and one cousin brother and their mother as her father left them all for a second marriage to another woman in greed of a boy child.

Be it a daughter or a son, society cannot stereotype them to do things as per a structure. As per the demand of the situations and challenges that one faces in life, a man and a woman can switch roles and work towards building a peaceful and equal society.
