Why consider a double master’s degree in today’s times

There were days when people used to put all their efforts into their children so that they could at least get educated and earn a bachelor’s degree. Passing a bachelor’s degree exam meant the family has got someone who can take care of the future expenses through a fixed job. Those days competition in the job market and the number of people having a bachelor’s degree was also quite less compared to today’s times when people from all economic backgrounds are investing their huge sum of money on getting their children educated.

Thus, nowadays, having a bachelor’s degree is not just sufficient for a good job at a good company but knowing what the person has studied plus having a practical experience of the job through internships or project work is quite expected from the graduates passing out from colleges these days. Yes, the expectation and the benchmark that has been set from newcomers in the industry has increased and even if you have a master’s degree, you will still face that insecurity in your job as the economy is rapidly changing due to the environmental and crisis conditions.

Pursuing a Master’s degree and that also in two fields will give you that added advantage over other candidates who are walking into the job interview with only a graduation degree. It will also help you speak up for what you have gained from mastering dual courses and how the courses can value add your organization in terms of its growth and expansion. Say you are a Marketing graduate, you can simply take up Masters in Marketing along with another Masters in Human Resource Management so that you have ideas of both the fields and have more chances to get hired as a HR Manager / Supervisor of a Marketing and Sales department than someone who only has subject knowledge of HR.
