
Order to conduct final year examinations of universities and colleges
New Delhi: In the midst of the Corona crisis, the Supreme Court has given an important decision to conduct final year examination of students of all the universities and colleges of the country. The Supreme Court has cleared these exams. The Supreme Court said in its ruling that students cannot pass without the final year examination of the university.
The Supreme Court also said, ‘States must conduct examinations to promote students. The state can postpone the examination in view of the epidemic under the Disaster Management Act and then discuss with the UGC to fix the date.
The UGC had earlier directed that the examinations of all university and college final year students should be completed by 30 September. However, a petition was filed in the Supreme Court on behalf of some people.
