Bande Uktala Janani is the song of the state Odisha, which will be incorporated in the school syllabus of classes 9 and 10.
A proposal was initiated to make the move which was approved by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
A notification was released recently which stated that Bande Utkala Janani has been penned by a renowned poet Lakhmikanta Mohapatra and it will be made a part of the school syllabus of classes 9 and 10.
In the start of this year, the Odisha government honoured the state song status to the ‘Bande Utkala Janani’.
Odia people all over the world sang the beautiful song giving respect and appreciation to the coornavirus warriors.
Even Patnaik said that reciting the state song will improve patriotism in students of the state and help them move ahead in life.
