The move is to ensure that students don’t spend too much time online before computers or phones and can complete their studies on their own time and pace.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, digital learning has gained more prominence as schools and colleges will be shut for more coming months.
Many parents and teachers are of the opinion that children cannot spend as much time sitting online like a regular school due to lack of infrastructure at home.
As a healthy and balanced approach has to be maintained, certain guidelines will be framed after taking suggestions from various stakeholders on the number of fixed hours for online classes.
Mental health, cybersecurity issues and accessible learning environment will be the key areas that will be focused upon while framing the guidelines.
Highest quality content with lot of engagement and interaction will be worked upon to make digital learning interesting for the students.
