As per a recent report, Maharashtra government is expected to declare the exam results of class 10 i.e. SSC and class 12 i.e. HSC by 10 June 2020. The state government has given permission to teachers, moderators and administration officials to travel to work during the coronavirus extended lockdown in the state.
Earlier, the state government had to cancel the pending SSC board exams, which were supposed to be held in the month of March 2020 because of coronavirus lockdown that started in the last week of March. Two subjects of Geography and Work Experience were cancelled by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education due to the pandemic’s lockdown order announced by the government of India. Hence, the state board plans to give marks based on the subject rules.
The fate of over 17 lakh students who appeared for class 10 board exams in Maharashtra will be decided by June 2020. With regards to the other classes, the state government has said class 9 and class 11 will be promoted to the next class based on their exam performance. The state government has already cancelled exams for class 1 to 8.
