As the world is going through a deadly pandemic, everyone is trying their best to come up with a technology, product or service to provide support to the coronavirus patients.
In an interesting news, researchers at the Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar have come up with a compact and affordable ventilation support for the less critical coronavirus patients.
Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure (BiPAP) machine is the mode of ventilation which provides positive pressure for air intake and a low pressure for expiration.
It is easy to use and can be fit even in remote areas, villages or at home.
People who have mild symptoms or are less serious due to the coronavirus infection and do not require emergency wards can use this BiPAP machine.
IIT Ropar’s machine may cost around Rs. 6,500 per unit. The inventors of this machine are Neha Sardana and Gaurav Pal Singh.
As more and more people are getting infected by the deadly coronavirus, it has become a mandate for people to take good care of themselves and take precautionary measures.
If you or your loved ones are going through the mental stress or trauma due to the lockdown and increasing number of coronavirus cases, it is time to relax yourself and know that this phase will also pass away.
