So, it is obvious that the cost has increased for many of the items in the last few months as compared to the pre-pandemic era we lived in. However, the fact is also that not every company had the resources to sustain in the pandemic times and are going through financial losses terribly. However, if you are someone who is working in a company that is seeing growing sales and has made a good reputation in the market for its sustainable business model and your team’s efforts are driving the company’s growth then you can make an attempt to write a mail to your employer or HR asking for a salary raise.
Mention the valid reasons for the same and also give them options of how you can value-add to their company. Keep your job role a little flexible and be quite transparent about your work when you are asking for a raise. It is important that your employer sees your worth the way you see it and that is possible, only if you communicate openly and share your views or ideas for future products or services.
