Happiness syllabus is to make students lifelong learners

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia shared his views on online panel discussion held by the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) recently.

Sisodia said, “Happiness Curriculum is not a ‘value education class’ that preaches moral values to the students. Instead, it focuses on developing the mindset of the students to adopt the values in their everyday attitude and behaviour.”

Sisodia became a part of the online panel discussion as a guest speaker. The discussion was conducted to understand the systematic social emotional learning programs of the happiness curriculum by Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE).

It also celebrated the success of happiness classes in the government schools all over Delhi.

Sisodia also added that the Delhi government was keen on developing a syllabus for students that would encourage them to become learners for lifelong.
