New Delhi: In the cabinet meeting held regarding the 12th examination of Gujarat Board, it has been decided to cancel the examination. The 12th exams of CISCE and some other boards have already been cancelled. Meanwhile, the cancellation of the examination has also been announced by the Gujarat Board of Secondary Education. The state was already discussing the cancellation of the examination due to the pandemic.
Now that the cancellation of the 12th board examination has been approved in the state, it is feared that hardly a decision will be taken to conduct the 12th examination in the state this year.
Due to the second wave of Corona, the situation has still not become normal in many places in the country. In such a situation, the state government does not want the students to be at risk of infection in any way. Keeping in mind the health and safety of the students, the state government has decided to cancel the examination. Earlier, the decision to cancel the CBSE board exam has been given by the Center.
