Lucknow: In the last 24 hours, 1514 new cases of corona virus infection have been reported in Uttar Pradesh. Although 115 Covid patients have died. During this 4939 people have also been cured. The number of active cases has come down to 28,694. The recovery rate in the state has gone up to 97.1 percent. This information has been given by Uttar Pradesh Additional Chief Secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad.
Now 64 districts of Uttar Pradesh have become free from corona curfew. The number of active cases of corona in these districts has come down to less than 600. Corona curfew is now applicable in only 11 districts including Lucknow in the state. In UP, corona curfew is currently in force in the capital Lucknow, Varanasi, Meerut, Gorakhpur, Ghaziabad, Bareilly, Jhansi, Gautam Budh Nagar, Saharanpur, Muzaffar Nagar and Bulandshahr. The number of active corona patients in all these districts is more than 600.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed displeasure over the negligence of the people during the relaxation of Corona curfew in most of the districts of the state. He said that this concession does not mean to be a waiver of ‘negligence’.
