Centre releases new guidelines for holding exams in pandemic

The Union Health Ministry has released fresh Standard Operating Procedures (SoP) to organize exams during the coronavirus pandemic.

In the new guidelines released by the government, the health ministry said the exams will be held only after following specific preventive measures.

Physical distancing, use of face cover, regular hand washing, use of sanitizers, covering one’s mouth and nose while sneezing, self-care of health and not spitting and reporting any sickness by everybody should be followed.

Also, exam centres outside the containment zone will be allowed to operate. Staff and students from containment zones are barred.

Due to coronavirus pandemic, it has become utmost important to take care of health of self and others.

As the cases of the virus are increasing, it is advisable to wear face masks and follow the preventive measures while travelling to the exam centres.
