CBSE Board: 10th and 12th examination results declared by mid July

New Delhi: CBSE will declare the results of 10th, 12th board exam by July 15. This information was given by the Controller of Examinations, Sanyam Bhardwaj in the apex court. CBSE Exam Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj says that the Supreme Court allowed CBSE to issue a notification regarding cancellation of the remaining board exams for class 10th and 12th scheduled in July. A bench of Justices AM Khanwilkar, Dinesh Maheshwari and Sanjeev Khanna has allowed CBSE to issue the notification of cancellation.

The board has told in the Supreme Court today that the results of the students of class 10th and 12th who have completed the examination will get the result in general. Whereas students who have given more than three papers, their result for the remaining papers will be given according to the average number of the best three subjects. At the same time, the students who have given three board papers will get the average marks of the best two subjects for the remaining examinations. Apart from this, the number of students who finish 1 or 2 papers will be given on the basis of board performance and internal / practical assessment.

At the same time, examinations will be held later for the students of class 12 who choose to take the exam to improve their score. However, there will be no examination for CBSE 10th class. At present, the CBSE board has canceled the exams of class 10th and 12th. On the other hand, the CISCE Board has said that they can conduct the 10th class exam after the situation becomes normal.

CBSE was seeking relief, including cancellation of the remaining Class 12 exams scheduled from July 1-15, in view of the increasing number of Covid-19 cases in the apex court. Similar relief was also sought by the ICSE Board.
