CBSE asked by HRD ministry to reduce syllabus from class 9 to 12

In one of the interesting news after so many bad news for students, the HRD ministry has asked CBSE to reduce its syllabus by 30% for students of class 9, 10, 11 and 12.

The move came after looking at the situation in the country where students are unable to go to schools and colleges to continue their studies due to the coronavirus pandemic.

As classes 9 to 12 decide the future of the students’ career, CBSE has been asked to revise its curriculum by giving more focus on the main concepts.

Earlier, there were reports that CBSE would be having reduced syllabus for only class 10 and 12 students by one-third from the next year 2021-22.

CBSE had also asked NCERT to help it with the topics which are no longer relevant and can be removed from its syllabus.
