On November 28, 2021, the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) will hold the computer-based Common Admission Test 2021 (CAT 2021). The test will be held in three sessions, with IIM Ahmedabad as the organising institute this year. Candidates interested in applying can do so online at iimcat.ac.in.
The CAT 2021 exam registration procedure begins today, August 4. The deadline to register for the CAT 2021 test is September 15, 2021. The CAT exam is used to get into IIMs in Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Amritsar, Bangalore, Shillong, Sambalpur, Lucknow, Visakhapatnam, Bodh Gaya, Tiruchirappalli, Indore, Raipur, Jammu, Ranchi, Kashipur, Lucknow, Nagpur, Rohtak, Sirmaur, and Udaipur for postgraduate and fellow Management programmes.
CAT 2021: Eligibility
A bachelor’s degree in any area with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for applicants belonging to the Persons with Disability (PWD), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Scheduled Caste (SC) categories) is required to apply for CAT.

Registration for CAT 2021
Registration for CAT 2021 will commence on August 4, and applications will be accepted through September 15. The registration cost for general category applicants would be Rs 2200, while Rs 1100 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. From October 27 to November 28, registered candidates will be able to download their admission cards. This year’s CAT will be held at 158 test sites distributed across the country. Candidates will also have the option of choosing any of the six exam cities of their choice.
CAT 2021 score validity
Candidates can check their scorecards on the official CAT website or get individual results through SMS. CAT 2021 results are anticipated to be released in the second week of January 2022. The CAT 2021 score will be valid until December 31, 2022.
