Australian High Commissioner approached by Indian education minister

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank organized a online meeting with Australian High Commissioner to India, Barry O Farrell.

The ideas was to understand how education policies of two countries can be utilized in the best way possible for the future of the students.

The meeting highlighted how India-Australia education relations can be taken forward under the newly launched National Education Policy (NEP).

Both the leaders shared how committed they are to work towards the benefit of the students of both the countries.

NEP 2020 has introduced many interesting changes in school education system such as universalisation of Early Childhood Care Education (ECCE), national mission to focus on basic literacy and basic numeracy, no strict separation between arts and sciences streams and removal of separation between vocational and academic and curricular and extracurricular, says a report.
