Lucknow: Amity Institute of Information Technology Lucknow Campus, Amity University, in collaboration with IIT-Mumbai, organized two online, Faculty Development Programmes on R Language and Python Programming from 26th April to 7th May 2020.
More than 600 Faculty members, Industry, Corporate representatives and research scholars registered and participated for these online Faculty Development Programme and hands-on training. The Faculty Development Programme saw a participation of members from more than 9 States and 35 Districts from across India. Participants praised the conduct of the online Faculty Development Programme and said it was a very good learning experience and very well-organized Faculty Development Programme in these tough times of COVID-19 Lockdown.
The participants were trained on various lectures by Professors from IIT-Mumbai. The faculty coordinators Dr. Rajiv Pandey and Dr. Parul Verma from Amity University, Lucknow campus, guided the participants with online execution of all the computer software and programs. On completion of the two Faculty Development Programme an online test was also conducted, and the successful candidates were awarded completion certificates signed by IIT Mumbai and Amity University.
