Mumbai: In view of the rising corona case in Maharashtra, the state government has announced a weekend lockdown. Full lockdown has been announced from 8 pm Friday night to 8 am Monday. At the same time, night curfew has been imposed all over Maharashtra.
In view of the increasing case, questions have been arising for a long time whether the state will face a lockdown again after the rising cases of Corona. Taking a decision on this, the Maharashtra government announced after the cabinet meeting that the lockdown will not be announced in the state till April 30. However, the weekend lockdown has been implemented.
During the last 24 hours, 49 thousand 447 new infections were reported and 277 people died. With this, the total number of corona cases in the state has now risen to 29 lakh 53 thousand 523. At the same time, 9,090 new cases and 27 people have died in Mumbai in the last 24 hours. The death rate in the state is 1.88 percent. At the same time, 3567 new cases of corona have been reported in Delhi and 10 deaths have been recorded.
