Jaipur: In view of the rapid rise of the second wave of global epidemic corona, the Rajasthan government has decided to impose weekend curfew from 6 pm Friday to 5 am Monday.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot took this decision in a meeting with the Corona Core Group late on Thursday night. Gehlot appealed to everyone to cooperate with the government during curfew and Covid should follow proper behavior. He said that during the curfew, services like concession in exempted night curfew include fruits-vegetable, milk, LPG and banking services.
Earlier, more cases of corona were being reported in 17 districts of the state, but in the last few days, the infection has spread rapidly in all the districts. Now there are 6,658 new cases of corona and 33 deaths in the state. Therefore, a strict decision has been taken for weekend curfew.
He said that if drastic steps are not taken in time, the situation can become a formidable situation like other states. It is an appeal to the common man to show solidarity and cooperate with each other like the former. The need of the hour is that once again everyone unitedly follows all the precautions and strict guidelines laid down by the government with the same resolution.
