Meerut: In Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh, the number of corona infected persons is increasing continuously. Three positive samples were found on Thursday in Mawana, two in Parikshitgarh and one in Humayun Nagar. Three of these are tablighi Jamatis. The number of corona infected has reached 43 with six new cases found in Meerut.
On Thursday, 87 samples from Meerut were examined at the Medical College, out of which 81 samples were negative. Apart from this, 113 samples were from the surrounding districts, in which five samples of Amroha and three of Hapur have come positive.
Earlier on Wednesday, three from Meerut, five from Saharanpur, two from Baghpat, two from Amroha and three from Muzaffarnagar were found corona positive.
