Reward on Jamatis,  informer will get five thousand rupees

New Delhi: The Azamgarh police have announced a reward for their information after the Jamatis who had reached the district after attending the Tabligi Jamaat program in Delhi went missing.

The police have so far traced 33 Jamaat activists in various madrasas, mosques and homes and conducted their investigations and sent them to remain in isolation. Meanwhile, the police got concrete information that most of the representatives are still hiding in mosques / madrasas and houses, whose information is not available to the administration. After this, the police announced the reward on Friday giving information about these jamatis.

The Superintendent of Police announced a reward of five thousand rupees to those giving information about these people. At the same time, the District Magistrate has started making door-to-door screening work by declaring 26 places in the district as a containment zone.

Superintendent of Police Triveni Singh said many Jamaat activists are still hiding. He said that it has been appealed to him that if you still come forward then action will not be taken against you but if information is found by any other means, then no one will be spared and strict action will be taken against them. Singh also informed that a reward of five thousand rupees will also be given to those giving information and their name and address will be kept secret.
